Students and professors travel to National ACS MeetingProfessors Bachman and Miles, senior Corwin Miller and junior Brendan Monks traveled to New Orleans, Louisiana for the 235th National American Chemical Society Meeting and Exposition. Environmental Chem Major Paul Dixon Awarded Semester-At-Sea ScholarshipPaul Dixon, rising junior Environmental Chemistry major, was awarded the prestigious Parker Presidential Scholarship from the Sea Education Association of Woods Hole, Massachusetts. He will use this scholarship to attend the Semester-At-Sea program entitled "Oceans and Climate," which begins in Woods Hole and culminates in a sail across the Pacific Ocean. Robert Bachman elected CUR CouncilorRobert Bachman was recently elected to a three-year term as a Councilor for the Chemistry Division of the National Council of The Council on Undergraduate Research (CUR).
