Premedical Honor Society – Alpha Epsilon Delta
The local chapter of the national premedical honor society is the Tennessee Epsilon Chapter. Selection is based on academic achievement in a wide range of science courses.
Individuals are inducted during their junior or senior year who have completed at least eight science courses and have maintained at least a 3.2 GPA as well as a 3.2 GPA in their science courses. The annual initiation is followed by a dinner with a guest lecturer.
The members of AED sponsor several events each year and serve as mentors to the first-year students and sophomores.
