Shuttle to Sewanee

Need a Ride from the Airport?

If you’ll be arriving by plane to Nashville, Chattanooga or Atlanta and need ground transportation to the mountain please follow the steps below: 

• First, call Groome Transportation at 1-800-896-9928 and book a reservation from the airport to the Smokehouse in Monteagle, TN, approximately 7 miles from Sewanee. 
• Then, call Barbara Banks at 931-598-1959 and reserve a seat on the shuttle from the Smokehouse to main campus. Remember to book in advance!

Approximate charges for shuttle (see Groome Transportation for schedule and rate information)

• Chattanooga Airport $32.00 one way and $64.00 round trip
• Nashville Airport, $39.00 one way and $73.00 round trip
• Atlanta Airport, by special arrangement as it takes two shuttles--one from Atlanta to Chattanooga, then a second from Chattanooga to Monteagle, TN.

Shuttle Service to Monteagle will be provided by the university for $5.00 per person during university breaks:
Fall Break
Christmas Break
Spring Break
Summer Break

Again, please contact Barbara Banks 931 598 1959 to make your shuttle arrangement to or from the Monteagle Smoke House.
