We believe that students of the University should be engaged citizens, not only of the student body, but also of the town of Sewanee. Their impact on the community through local service opportunities and their acquisition of a global perspective through domestic and international service trips give Sewanee a unique atmosphere in which hope becomes a heart felt reality.
