Organizations (mainly Greek organizations) are permitted to collect one bag of recycling and count this as one hour of service; however, this is not an option for individuals completing "mandated" service for violations.
** Remember - your service hours are due by the date indicated in your letter from the dean. For every day past the stated deadline, you will be required to give one additional hour of service. For example, if your 5 hours of community service are due on March 10th and you don't complete your work until March 15th, you will be required to complete 10 community service hours instead of 5. **
