Long Distance Services

Students

Each student living area has at least one telephone with local calling and 0+ calling at no extra cost to the student, voice mail, and hassle free long distance-no deposit or credit history required. (Many suites are equipped with more than one phone.) We ask that you use the University provided telephone as it has a link button that allows proper operation of phone features and has a message waiting light that blinks letting you know you have a message.

Upon arrival to campus, you will be able to make local and “0+” calls, and receive calls from the dorm room phone. The provision of this service will allow students to have access to a telephone in their room without a deposit, costly installation charge each year, or monthly service bills. Students are discouraged from bringing their own phones to campus, as they may not work with the University’s voice mail notification system. No collect calls can be accepted.
