(to have all your incoming calls ring at another phone)
To Activate

Without lifting the receiver Depress * Dial extension that calls are to be forwarded to * Depress (Forward light goes on steadily)

To Cancel

Without lifting the receiver depress (Forward light goes off)

To reinstate to same number

Without lifting the receiver depress twice (Forward light goes on steadily)

Call Park

(to park a call so that it can be retrieved from another extension or your phone)
To park a call on your extension number

Depress * Press *8 followed by your extension * Depress again * Hang up

To park a call on a different number

Depress * Press *8 followed by the extension * Depress again Hang up

To answer a parked call

Listen for dial tone * Press **8 * Immediately dial number on which call is parked * Begin conversation

Call Pickup

(to answer another ringing phone in your pick up group)
To pick up from idle phone

Listen for dial tone * Depress OR Press *7 * Begin talking immediately * If you receive reorder tone, you either are not in the pickup group, someone else picked up the call, or the calling party hung up.

Conference --Six Way/Possible Transfer

(to consult and/or add a third party to your conversation and/or transfer)
To hold call and consult/add a party

Depress ... -- * Dial 3rd party * If the third party or number you dialed cannot be reached for any reason depress button of original party being transferred/conferenced. * Consult * Depress * Begin three way, introduce parties for transfer or continue process to add more parties to maximum total of six.

To drop yourself from a conference

Hang up * Remaining parties converse * One of the remaining parties must be within the University Telephone System.

Last Number Redial

(to automatically redial the last number you called)
To activate

Listen for dial tone on line which called desired number Depress button

Stored Number Redial

(to automatically dial a stored number)
To call a number stored

Listen for dial tone * Depress * Wait for answer

To program before a call

Without lifting the receiver * Depress * Dial number to be stored * Depress again

To program during active call

Depress * Number will be stored

Transfer to Voice Mail

To transfer a call to voice mail

Depress ... -- * Dial extension * Depress * Hang up

Speed Calling

The following local or long distance telephone numbers including access codes and area codes may be dialed automatically by using the procedures as follows:

To Place a Call-

Listen for dial tone * Dial *0 -- * Dial the appropriate Speed Call Access Code listed below. * Hear ringing * Wait for answer.

If you are the controller of your speed call list, then you can add and delete numbers by doing the following:

To Add Listen for dial tone * Dial *10 -- * Dial 2 digit access code * dial number to be stored * Dial # -- * Hang up

To Erase Listen for dial tone * Dial *10 -- * Dial 2 digit access code * Dial * * Dial # -- * Hang up
